Growing up, I always loved art. Drawing, painting, sculpting... anything that allowed me to use my creative mind captivated me. After my own wedding, I developed a passion for photography. The moments that were captured between myself and my wife through photography provided us with the opportunity to relive our wedding day over and over. I love the part that photography has played in mine and my wife's life together by documenting our love story, and it's through this personal experience that I realized that I had a desire to do the same for others.

I believe the most important and meaningful part of a wedding is what the ceremony itself means.

And so, my love and passion for photography developed into Jason Mize Photography. For me, when it comes to weddings, it's not all about the celebration. I believe the most important and meaningful part of a wedding is what the ceremony itself means. It's the time and place where two people commit their entire lives to each other in the company of their loved ones. They are starting the journey of the rest of their lives. As a wedding photographer, I'm given the honor and opportunity to tell a couple's story – on one of the most important days of their life – through my art.  It's an incredible blessing, and it's why I love what I do.
